Phoenix Fixes
Sewing Machines

Based in south Minneapolis,
surving east central Minnesota.

  • Vintage & Modern (1960s to present)

  • Maintinance & Repairs

  • Specialty Bobbins & Lightbulbs

I provide care and high-quality service for all the sewing machines that grace my workbench because I sew myself and know how vital they are to you.

Mark your calendar!

Phoenix will be at Sue’s Quilt shop, New Prague, MN, on July 11, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, to receive sewing machines that need a spa treatment or repairs. She will collect customer sewing machines and take them back to her Minneapolis-based workshop, email you with updates, then bring all the machines back to Sue’s Quilt Shop for pickup on July 25 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.

Please note that I do not service treadle, antique cast-iron, featherweight, or Bernina sewing machines.

I’m an honest, communicative, and genial sewing machine service technician who provides quality service.
I’ll always give you clearly defined options, and if I’m unable to do the work, I will let you know and recommend a fellow technician.

I’m also available for hire to share my skills and knowledge at events, local shops, and maker spaces. Have tools, will travel!

  • Service starts with cleaning and lubricating your sewing machine, then an inspection is made on all internal and external parts. When parts are needed, research is done, and an email including options and the price of labor and parts will be sent to you.
